When I was a little girl, my mom gave me a giant world atlas for Christmas one year. The book was bigger than I was. I spent hours flipping through the pages, staring at the different maps and dreaming about what each little piece of the world was like. I wanted to see for my own eyes the sights photographed and printed in my atlas. I wanted to meet all the different kinds of people and learn firsthand about the cultures described in it. I wanted to understand as much as I could about the different climates and environments, and the creatures that could be found in each one. It all fascinated me and instilled an insatiable curiosity - or more accurately, an insatiable determination - to see and experience as much as I could in my life. 

I have now traveled through over 30 countries and have managed to turn many of my childhood dreams into reality, and I'm still going. The beautiful thing about the world is that no one person could ever see and experience it all in a lifetime - there is always somewhere new to go, always someone new to meet, always something new to learn. For years I balked at the idea of starting my own travel business, because, let's be real, no one is asking for another travel blogger. Literally, no one. There are five billion sites already where you can find pretty much anything you'd want to know about traveling to almost anywhere on the planet. However, I've noticed more and more that to find the essential information needed to plan a trip, you have to visit multiple sites - one blog talks about the sites to see, another one informs you of best ways to get around, another one discusses cultural considerations, then you need to seek out government websites to learn about visa requirements, and the list goes on. I've also noticed that websites are increasingly SEO driven to promote more clicks, meaning they don't want to be succinct in providing the information, they want to pack their pages full of words to increase the likelihood that their site will pop up near the top of a Google search, resulting in the need to scan through a mountain of text to find the piece of information you're looking for. It can be frustrating, particularly for those who aren't experienced travelers and aren't sure where to start or what all they should even be looking for. That's what finally prompted me to start this - I don't care about Search Engine Optimization, I care about traveling, end of story. I want to provide what I have not seen anywhere else: succinct, comprehensive yet easily digestible guides that provide all the information and appropriate resources a person would need to plan their trip abroad. Whether you download one of my premade guides or would like a personalized one made for you, I will use the decade+ experience I have traveling the world to ensure you can get to where you want to go without feeling defeated by the daunting process of planning it from scratch.

I travel for the sheer love of learning and the value I believe it adds to my personal life experience. Therefore, the pictures and videos I share on social media won't be professional status - no editing, nothing special, just quick snapshots I can get with my phone, when I have the opportunity to take them. The booking recommendations I provide are based on personal experience and the loads of research I've done to find vendors that are reliable, eco- and culture- friendly to the local environment, and provide good quality experiences. My only goal is to help those who want to travel, but feel overwhelmed by the trip planning process, get moving on achieving their travel dreams.
